Home Instead has been a life changing experience for my parents. My Dad is physically and cognitively impaired, so he requires a full time caretaker. Until my cousin told me about Home Instead, the full time caretaker was my mom. She never got a break or time to herself. The staff and owners of Home Instead are friendly and they go out of their way to make sure that patients and caregivers are a good match. We also experienced numerous challenges from the insurance company, during the 6 months it took to meet their out of pocket obligations and assume responsibility for payment of my Dad's care. I never would have survived with my insanity intact, without Scott and Vicki's patience, support and reassurance. They were so patient and never complained about the extra work or phone calls from me. I so admire the nurturing spirit, dedication and compassion it takes to care for the elderly.
