Help seniors by donating to the Give65® Incentive Fund on #GivingTuesday.
Want to make a real impact this #GivingTuesday? Consider donating to the Give65® Incentive fund on Nov. 30 to help senior-focused non-profits in your own community.
The world has come to recognize the last Tuesday of November as the marque day for people – and businesses – to give back to those who need us most. Home Instead® made a promise long ago to help create a world today that we all want to grow older in tomorrow. This promise is exactly why the Give65 Incentive Fund exists – helping inspire donors to give on a greater level and helping fuel senior-focused organizations that make a difference. Each donation to the fund on #GivingTuesday goes toward providing meals, transportation, activities, hospice care and more to seniors in our communities.
Donate $10 to Give65 this Giving Tuesday.
What is #GivingTuesday?
Since it was founded in 2012, the annual event has been put on by an independent nonprofit connected with leaders, partners and organizations to better communities around the world. Home Instead Charities’ Give65 initiative raises thousands of dollars for senior-focused nonprofits and groups across North America each year on the date from generous donations from kind individuals and businesses.
Seniors Needs Us More Than Ever
Did you know that more than 10,000 people in the U.S. turn 65-years-old every day? But despite the drastic shift in age demographics, less than 2% of funding from the largest grant makers goes to the aging population. It’s an unsustainable statistic – yet one we can have a hand in changing.
Give Back in a Big Way
Giving to the Give65 Incentive Fund on #GivingTuesday means your charitable donations will go even further. This year, Home Instead Charities is providing an additional $10,000 in matching grants once $125,000 is raised on its site and $60,000 in online donations at Give65.org will be matched dollar for dollar.
When you donate through Give65, you also can choose any of its sponsored nonprofits to give to. If your organization already serves older adults, find out how to become a #GivingTuesday partner.
