Goodlettsville December 2021 Client & CAREGiver Spotlight - Rickey M. & Myrna K.
Our December 2021 Professional Caregiver and Client Spotlight of the Month is Rickey McCollum (client) and Myrna King (caregiver). Rickey is from Nashville. He worked for a flooring company and then a school supply company for many years where he retired. He has suffered with epilepsy since he was a child. He turned to Home Instead for assistance with everyday household chores, preparing meals and companionship.
Myrna and Rickey make a great team. She does the housework, fixes his meals, and reminds him of his meds. Watching movies is Rickey’s favorite thing to do. He has bookcases full of them and lets Myrna pick them out. Rickey said, “Myrna is great. She has a great personality and helps me do the things that I can no longer do. I am glad to have her around to watch movies with and to assist me with my chores.”
