Meet Carol and her Professional CAREGiver, Jill, Goodlettsville’s Spotlight Team for August! Ms. Carol was a secretary for the superintendent of the school system and taught Sunday School at her church. Her husband, Larry, was the principal of the same school as well! She was born in Michigan and moved to Kentucky later in life. Ms. Carol and Jill are a great team because Carol is so easygoing and gets along great with Jill. Jill knows what Ms. Carol needs before being asked. Ms. Carol has dementia, so Jill tries to keep her engaged in activities, such as playing with yarn. They also love to watch their favorite soap operas and “The Price is Right” together. This pair was chosen because of their bond and Jill’s supervisor says, “Jill knows exactly what to do and when to do it. Carol loves her and feels safe with her there”. We certainly are glad Ms. Carol found Jill and we hope they continue to “Share Their Hearts” for a long time to come!
