My uncle requires 24 hours care which my aunt was able to provide until she fell and broke her hip. I live 1600 miles away and I contacted Jason while she was still in the ER. Within a couple hours he had someone at their house ready to take care of my uncle. He was able to get a schedule in place and my uncle was never left alone for the five weeks until my aunt came home after rehab. We continued the around the clock service until they moved into an assisted living facility.
We could not have asked for better support for them. They all provided the care and compassion that was needed and in most cases went above and beyond what was needed or expected. Jason and his staff made sure we always knew the current status.
The service provided give us comfort and peace of mind knowing they were being kept safe while we live so far away.
I highly recommend their service.

Home Instead helped us with a family emergency as both of my parents unexpectedly developed life threatening health issues at the same time. My mother was under hospice care and took a sudden turn for the worse. Home Instead ramped up skillful coverage and changing schedules on a daily basis until my mother passed. I thank them for their flexibility as we were going through a crisis. During this time my father was gravely ill in the hospital. His health improved just as my mother's failed. He was discharged and in turn he needed the help of Home Instead. They have sheparded him through rehab and recovery. They have worked hard to help him establish stability in his home since my mother's passing. He is now able take control of his life again. We hired Home Instead to help my father transition when he came home on hospice. Our goal was to get assistance with his care so we could lift the burden off my mother: she had been his caregiver for the last few months and the last thing we wanted was to take time away from her just being by his side in his final days. And Home Instead and the wonderful caregivers we met over that 5 days, gave our family the opportunity to do that. They were respectful and supportive. They knew when to step in and when to fade into the background so we could be together as a family. Polly was our main point of contact and we couldn’t have asked for a kinder soul to help us on this journey. We also had Val with us multiple times and was such a joy: a very kind compassionate person. We also loved working with Nona: she was our overnight nurse one night and she was patient and kind enough to talk to my father for several hours when he woke up. We highly recommend Home Instead for anyone looking for help with a sick, injured or hospice patient. Long story short, my grandmother lived in Sun City with no family near by for many years (she was 102). In May, she had a fall that landed her in the hospital and since she lives at a total independent living facility, we needed to make some plans for when she was released very quickly and I ended up being the once to come to AZ to arrange everything. We did not want her to go into a nursing home and Home Instead was recommended to me as an option as she did need 24/7 care. I called Vicki at Home Instead on a Thursday and the next day Polly was out to assess my grandmother and by the end of the day they had scheduled round the clock care beginning on Monday-pretty amazing. Home instead Care Pros provided compassionate and quality care for her for the next 5 weeks. Polly provided all the coordination including getting hospice on board, training the Care Pros in ways to care for her and assisting me in managing all of this long distance. Most importantly, she guided me through a very difficult process that I had no experience in and had no idea what to do. I wouldn't have made it through without them.
My grandmother was able to spend her last days in her own home with dignity and great care and that wouldn't have been possible without Home Instead.

I was so very happy and pleased with caregiver services provided recently to my elderly Mother. I had to set up care quite quickly and Home Instead was able to start the next day. I had a full week of 24/7 care and each caregiver was well trained, did very well with my Mother; kept her safe, fed and clean. The web portal that they have is awesome so you know who is there at all times and they add notes as to how it is going with your loved one. We recently retained Home Instead to provide caregiving support to my Brother-in-law in Sun City who is recovering from several health setbacks. He needs a lot of help while he is recovering and building strength, but he wanted to stay in his house. We have been traveling from out of state to provide care and we realized he needed some help in Sun City so we could resume our lives back home. We reached out to Home Instead and they answered my call immediately and Crystal came to his house first thing on a Monday. She explained everything and made a convincing argument to use her firm and we immediately retained them. It has been several weeks that Home Instead care givers have been providing care and we are very pleased with all of the staff and care he is getting. They are very professional and are always providing feedback and available for questions. We feel very fortunate to have them helping us with the care for my brother-in-law. My family and I are INCREDIBLY grateful for Home Instead’s services. At the 11th hour my family and I decided my mom who was released from having hip surgery was in dire need of overnight assistance to ensure her safety. Crystal was in contact with me so fast. Even on her Sunday she dropped everything and came to my mom’s home to do paperwork and meet my mom and us. Maxine was my mom’s overnight assistant and she was wonderful. Maxine made sure my mom was safe getting in and out of bed at night and stayed on top of her medication schedule. I cannot sing the praises of Home Instead enough. So thankful and HIGHLY recommend.

The caregivers and office staff were always helpful, even with last minute requests. My mother-in-law wanted to stay in her own home, surrounded by her own things, and have her own space after being in assisted living. The wonderful and caring people at Home Instead allowed her that opportunity. When she unexpectedly became so ill we had to call in hospice, Home Instead caregivers allowed us to continue to keep her at home until she said her goodbyes to us all. My mum loved her caregivers. She felt safe and loved. I can not recommend and thank you all so much!

Everyone from the administrative office has been so kind and helpful. With all of my last minute need for their services and last minute changes, they have accommodated me with ease and friendliness. Now to the Caregivers. Honestly, I don't know where they found these angels. Each and every one of them has been a G-d send for me. They have all been compassionate, caring, helpful and go the extra step in helping me during the time they are with me. Words could never express the gratitude for everyone. They have met my expectations and beyond.
They help me in the morning. They make my breakfast, help me get my socks and sneakers on. Help me with my meds. Clean my kitchen and make my bed. They also take me to Physical Therapy and back. Essentially whatever I need, they do. They arrive on time!
Home Instead has been a life saver for me. Everyone from Polly, Krystal and all of the Care Givers who have been unbelievable compassionate, sweet as can be and so helpful. I was going in for full knee replacement and my son reached out to this company after reading their reviews. It was all last minute since I did not know if I was going to be in a rehab facility or not. Polly came out to my home and went over everything with us. Once we started there were many last minute changes that were made on my end trying to coordinate my PT, needing help getting ready, meals and driving me to PT back to my home and getting me settled in. For me, split shift in the beginning worked best. After also a week, I still needed their help and scheduled them mainly for the morning hours. They have been unbelievably accommodating. Every Care Giver has been A plus! Kari, Fizz, Debra, Elisha, and Krystal...I apologize if I left anyone out...Thank you ...You girls are my heroes! I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them for my next knee replacement.

The service agency provides great communication to the clients and their family. Staff is on time, they are friendly and at the same time do what is required of them. It is a great fit for my parents even though my mom is the only one receiving the care. Response time is great when I've called with questions. I would definitely recommend this company!
The office we work with is very personable and professional. We used initially tried other in home care services but there was a lack of warmth and caring. Home Instead has a high touch, beyond the in home caregiver... management is engaged. I feel like they all know and care about my mom. And Home Instead's follow up is very prompt. Super conscientious, "real" and supportive. They provided my mom w/ a "Grandpad" device to make communicating w/all of us much easier - now she can take pictures and video call us. (computers are too hard for her due to having shaky hands. The aides are very reliable, they go above and beyond - bringing baked goods to my mom or stepping up to help trouble shoot a cable TV issue. Cannot recommend Home Instead enough.

I appreciated the fact that the first time I called the contact/scheduling person was a nurse. I had confidence that she would understand what my parents were going through and connect them with the caregivers that were the best fit. I’ve used Home Instead for assistance with medical appointments and even had a wonderful woman to come over and cook delicious meals for me once a week! Really helpful since my health prohibits standing up long periods. Plus, who doesn’t want a private chef! The caregiver knew her way around the kitchen and how to find what she needed without help. She cleaned things for me without being asked. My washer needed cleaning and my hands had not been strong enough to undo parts. Now I have a washer where everything works. She was unobtrusive quiet when there was nothing to keep her busy. She was an excellent companion for the whole week.
