Meet Our Team

I am blessed to be a team member and owner of Home Instead, St. Joseph & Maryville, MO. We are enhancing lives every day by delivering genuine, quality care with the greatest Care Professionals and Administrative Staff in NW Missouri.We build and maintain relationships by doing what we say we are going to do and treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Jeff Drost recently joined the team as our General Manager and brings over 20 years of experience in business management. As the GM, Jeff leads and motivates our team and oversees day-to-day activities. Jeff has been in NW Missouri for over 20 years and has 4 grown children, 5 grandchildren and 2 dogs. Outside of work he enjoys reading and walking his dogs.

Deanna is our Client Care Manager, which means she works with older adults, their families and team members to coordinate and optimize all aspects of care. She conducts Care Consultations with older adults and family members. She makes introductions of older adults and Care Professionals and she performs Quality Assurance visits and calls. Deanna also maintains ongoing communication and follow-up with older adults, Care Professionals, family members and health care providers, to ensure a positive experience for all.

Tara Stevenson joined the Home Instead team in May of 2021 as a Registered Nurse. She comes with extensive experience in a primary care setting and as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Tara plans to expand clinical and educational opportunities of staff and Care Professionals. Tara is married and has 3 teenage boys. She enjoys art, music, and gardening in her spare time.

Heather joined Home Instead in 2021. As the HR Manager, she makes an instant connection with our new Care Professionals. Heather facilitates our initial orientation and training sessions, as well as ongoing education for our Care Pros and administrative staff. Building and nurturing relationships through regular touch points is at the heart of it all. Heather ensures that our Care Pro Experience is meaningful and rewarding.

Originally from Saint Joseph, Heather lives here with her husband of twenty years and four children.  She enjoys photography, reading, spending time with family and friends and traveling, whenever possible. 

April Wilson joined Home Instead in September of 2021. On the weekends April works as one of the on-call service coordinators, ensuring that our older adults' and Care Professionals' needs are met after business hours. During the week April is an Administrative Assistant for an elementary school in the area, and is dedicated to helping others.

April was married in June to her husband Eric. Together they have four children, three boys, and a girl. April enjoys spending her time surrounded by family and friends, camping, fishing, watching movies, playing games, or just sitting by the bonfire making smores and memories.

Andrea joined Home Instead in May 2023 & is excited to grow and make connections within the community! As the Operations Manager it is her responsibility to successfully direct and coordinate all activities for growth and development of the business in Maryville and the surrounding areas. Her position serves as a Home Care Consultant, as well as a Client Care Coordinator. Andrea is originally from Bethany, Missouri and has relocated to the Maryville area. Andrea enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. In her spare time, she likes to travel as much as possible and hopes to see more of the world. 

Natasha joined the Home Instead team in July 2024. Her caring demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to problem solve made her a perfect fit to join our office staff. As the Office Coordinator, Natasha has many primary focuses such as managing our clients and Caregiver schedules to ensure that each client receives quality services. Taking great pride in matching clients and Caregivers with similar interests and personalities. Also, overseas the recruitment and engagement of Caregivers through the hiring process and job. Natasha has amazing insight when it comes to hiring compassionate, trustworthy individuals, and understanding the needs of each Caregiver. Her goal is to recruit, retain, and train the best Caregivers in NW Missouri to ensure we deliver top-quality care for your loved ones!

Meet Amy Adkins. Amy joined the Home Instead team in September 2020. She recently retired from the Saint Joseph School District, where she served as an elementary school counselor for over 20 years. As the Office Coordinator, she is responsible for managing various tasks, including answering phones, clocking caregivers in and out, facilitating client and caregiver introductions, making engagement calls, and handling after-hours calls as one of our on-call coordinators.  Amy maintains our professional standards and exceptional customer service.   She is highly creative, enjoys cooking, and consistently brings a smile to her coworkers' faces. In her free time, she can often be found on the pickleball court, showcasing her championship skills.
