Overall, Home Instead was a great solution for my mother-in-law to be able to stay in her own home for a longer period of time. Her mobility was decreasing and she needed more assistance. The caregivers that were assigned to my mother-in-law were kind, helpful, and supportive. They gave assistance and enabled her to remain fairly independent. It gave us, her family members, peace of mind knowing she had someone coming in a few days a week to take care of basic tasks that had become a burden for her.

Home Instead is one of the select organizations to be awarded a CalGrows Innovation Fund grant to offer this training and support to local caregivers. We are proud to be a CalGrows Partner of the California Department of Aging in 2023!
