Meet Carol and her caregiver, Brandi, Gadsden’s Client and Professional CAREGiver Spotlight team for June! Ms. Carol and Brandi hit it off from the start because they are both caregivers at heart. Ms. Carol was a home health caregiver before her retirement and helped her son raise her grandson.
Brandi has been a caregiver for 17 years, even though she has an Administrative Assistant degree. Brandi moved here from South Carolina in 2019. She has three boys and enjoys riding horses and four wheelers. When Ms. Carol and Brandi are together, they do a lot of cleaning. Ms. Carol cannot bend well, so Brandi has been helping her clean rooms, specifically a toy room. It is not all work for this pair though. Ms. Carol likes for them both to go out and get their nails done together.
Ms. Carol says, “I’m grateful Home Instead took the time to pair us together”. They have only been together two weeks and have already formed such a strong bond! We hope they have many years together “Sharing Their Hearts”.
