Franklin April 2021 Professional CAREGiver of the Month - Haroldine S.
Meet April’s Professional CAREGiver℠ of the month for April, Haroldine S.. At 72 years of age, Ms. Haroldine is still providing quality care to others! She spent her younger years in the Air Force Reserves. She has a love for helping other because she provided care for her own mother, beginning when her mother was 78 years old. Her mother had suffered from two broken legs and a hip replacement. In order to learn the trade, Haroldine stayed with her mother at the nursing home, then when she felt she could handle it, she brought her mother home. With Haroldine’s help, her mother lived to be 101 years old!
When Haroldine began working for Home Instead in July 2020, she prayed for a job that was seven days on and seven days off. Her prayer was answered when she found a client whom she could care for around the clock. Haroldine’s supervisor says, “Haroldine comes from a military background that has taught her to see the finest of details. This helps her provide the top of the line care her clients deserve.”
When Haroldine is not caring for her clients, you can find her cooking, doing yardwork or eating at Legends Restaurant. She has a secret eggplant casserole that she sometimes puts in a hot dog bun. We are truly blessed to have caregivers like Haroldine and we hope she continues to help our clients live “Home Instead” for many years to come!
