He always desired to settle in Florida because of the beautiful beaches and warm weather. A ten year veteran of the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve, Dave comes from a family full of military service. Both of his parents as well as both brothers and uncle proudly served this great country.
Dave and his wife April now live in Dade City, along with his 91 year-old mother who he cares for. He has six children and seven grandchildren that live from the east coast to west coast. He is very active in his church and loves to travel and spend time with his grandchildren. Dave has a love for baseball and enjoys the relaxing environment of the game.
Home Instead has been instrumental in allowing Dave and his wife to care for his mother. Serving and caring for others has always been a part of his life from the great example of his mother.

Pam Monnier Home Care Consultant 1

Pam Monnier – Home Care Consultant

Pam has been almost a long-time resident of Florida and almost as long in Punta Gorda. Pam has done many things over the course of her life, working in many different jobs with several different career paths. But the common theme in Pam’s life has been helping others and serving her community, a value system she got from her mom and dad early in life.

Pam was the Founder and CEO of GrandCare Plus Home Health in Punta Gorda and the CEO of GrandCare Plus Assisted Living in Port Charlotte. Her journey into this world of caring for seniors started as a dream for Pam many years ago and she was finally able to start her business from her kitchen table in 2016. With that small first step, Pam was able to build 2 businesses that both have a mission of providing the highest level of care and compassion and helping seniors live their best lives with grace, dignity and with lots of love every day. After 12 years of being a business owner, Pam has decided to slow down a little and spend more time with her family by closing her home health agency and selling her assisted living community.

Pam also believes that everyone should give back, that service to others is the path to true happiness and fulfillment in life and that service in the community is best expressed by volunteering time, donating as generously as you can, and spreading the word about the groups, agencies and people who are doing the hard work to build the community and help the people who need it the most.

Pam has taken the position of Homecare Consultant for Home Instead of Venice to continue to do what she loves.

The proud mom of two amazing loving kids, Brandy and Shayne, Pam has been blessed with five incredible grandchildren who are adored and spoiled as much as possible.

Pam Howland

Pam Howland – Emergency Management Plan/Billing Specialist

Caregivers come from a variety of backgrounds: military, teaching, nursing, moms returning to the workforce, legal assistance, and many more. Whatever the background, we bring art and science to caregiving. Art to share our love of music, crafts, cooking, and reading to enhance a client’s life. Science to continually learn proper techniques that ensure the safety of a client and help them navigate technology. My background in performing helps me inhabit a client’s reality. I sing 30’s, 40’, and 50’s songs to soothe them when they’re anxious. Computer consulting and training background allows me to help them get a better understanding of technology. Administrative compliance responsibilities allow me to use my work experience to keep up to date on regulatory, emergency management, and Home Instead policies and procedures. But, still at heart a caregiver, I find great joy in being empathetic to fellow caregivers’ needs and being able to guide them through their caregiving journey.

She has dreamed of living in Florida since she was a little girl and would vacation on Marco Island with her family. Kellie states, “Now I get to be part of an incredible team, doing what I’m passionate about, and in the state I love.”
