At Home Instead of Lakeland, FL, we love to share our knowledge with other caregivers, especially when it comes to activities that can bring joy to seniors. Baking is a wonderful way to engage seniors, offering a sense of accomplishment and the ability to share delicious treats. We were able to do just that at CenterWell Lakeland's annual skills day, where we created some delightful mini pies.
Teresa Conboy led the demonstration on how to make various mini pies, including cherry, peach, and apple. Her demonstration allowed other caregivers to learn these baking skills, which they can then share with their clients and fellow caregivers. Baking not only provides a fun and interactive activity but also brings comfort to the families we serve.
