At Home Instead, the holiday season is about bringing joy and connection to the seniors we serve. Through our annual Be a Santa to a Senior program, we collect, wrap, and deliver gifts to older adults in our community, reminding them they are treasured during this special time of year. The generosity of our neighbors and local organizations makes this event possible, creating lasting memories for seniors and their loved ones.
This year, we partnered with Age-Friendly Lakeland, Better Living for Seniors of Polk County, Meals on Wheels of Polk County, and VISTE (Volunteers in Service to the Elderly) to deliver holiday surprises to hundreds of seniors. Our first stop was VISTE, then we brought smiles to 120 Bedrock Rehab residents, and finally, we joined Meals on Wheels for another round of joyful giving.
As we strive to provide the best home care in Lakeland, FL, we will continue to provide programs like Be a Santa to a Senior for seniors in our community.
