We were so thrilled to attend the Volunteers in Service to the Elderly (VISTE) Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. This annual event celebrates the dedication and hard work of VISTE's 1,000 volunteers, who are committed to helping local seniors in need. The Home Instead of Lakeland, FL team has a wonderful partnership with VISTE through our Be A Santa To A Senior program, which brings holiday cheer to seniors in the Lakeland-Polk County area each year.
During the luncheon, we were proud to represent Age-Friendly Lakeland and collect surveys regarding a senior center in Lakeland. This initiative is a testament to Home Instead's commitment to providing the best possible care for seniors and supporting local organizations that share our values. By participating in this effort, we may show our dedication to the Lakeland-Polk County community and our desire to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors by providing the best home care in Lakeland, FL.
