One of Cumberland’s newest facilities is the Cumberland University Center for Nursing Education Simulation and Training (CNEST) annex. Although students have trained for over a year in the CNEST building, the pandemic delayed a ribbon-cutting ceremony. After all this time, they were finally ready to announce the opening to the whole community. Cumberland, along with Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital and the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony as well as a Business After Hours and Cumberland Nursing Social event.
The Nursing graduates at Cumberland University are known for their excellence and are recognized in the field as some of the most compassionate and caring nurses, according to the Dead of the Rudy School, Dr. Mary Bess Griffith.
