CAREGIVER OF THE MONTH
We have a longstanding tradition of recognizing one CAREGiver each month of the year who exemplifies the highest level of compassion in her or his work with clients, as well as the dependability and reliability that we count on in an employee. Please congratulate the July CAREGiver of the month:
Donaree Lewin
Dana and Diana surprised Donaree while on shift to present her with the CAREGiver of the Month award. Donaree has only been with us 6 short months but in that time has already taken 20 short notice shifts and has been flexible in toggling between overnight and day time shift as needed. We asked Donaree to share the following: “I take pride into what I do and I particularly enjoys helping especially when it comes on to our seniors. I find absolute pleasure into making them being able to smile and feeling pleased and satisfied on a day to day basis. I love that I bring a feeling of relief to my seniors with tasks that they can't necessarily perform for themselves.
To the new caregivers: It becomes easy once it is coming from the heart. Think about your loved ones and how you would want them to be treated by others. See it as though you've been blessed with an extra grandma or grandpa to help love and nurture.”
