Bryson and Linda McQuiston, Franchise Owners

Bryson, Franchise Owner

Bryson was born and raised in Brighton, Tennessee and graduated from Christian Brothers University in 1984 and Mid-America Seminary in 1990. His wife Linda, was born and raised in Michigan but has family ties to West Tennessee and grew up visiting her family down here in the summers. They have been married for over 30 years and worked together to bring Home Instead to Jackson and West Tennessee in 2008 bringing with them Bryson's years of experience in the senior care field and Linda's ability to compassionately care for those around her. Bryson has now worked in the senior care industry for over 30 years and has helped countless families navigate the complex issues that arise throughout the aging process. Linda has served right along-side him in various capacities through the years and now enjoys making the office a place of peace, comfort and hospitality for all who enter. Bryson and Linda enjoy travelling, grilling, RVing and spending time with their family.

Brooke Operations Manager 1

Brooke, Operations Manager

Brooke was raised in Milan, TN along with many generations of her family. Brooke received an MBA from Union University and is a proud Alumni and member of Renaissance Choir at Bethel University. Brooke has a passion for providing Alzheimer’s care and has worked in a professional setting as a Caregiver and has provided special care and attention to her family. Brooke’s grandmother, affectionally know as Memaw, had a long journey with Alzheimer’s Disease. Brooke hopes through her experience she may offer hope to families and the Jackson community that there is life after a diagnosis and there are resources, like Home Instead, to help you through difficult circumstances. Brooke serves as Outreach Director for her church, New Covenant, in Medina and in her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with the people she loves most. Brooke rejoined the Home Instead family in 2021 and is overjoyed to be an advocate for the gaining population and exceptional Care Professionals.

Callista Partnership Development 1

Calista Joyce, Partnership Development

Calista was born and raised in Mayfield Ky and graduated from Murray State. Beginning in 1990, Calista continued her career at West Tennessee Healthcare during which she helped develop the Healthy Start Program providing counseling services and rehabilitation support to families and children. It was during this time she met her late husband Barry, whom she shares 4 grandchildren with. Calista went on to work for WRAP as the Program Coordinator across 13 counties and later switched gears and fulfilled a lifelong dream of opening a boutique, which was the first retail business established in the Downtown Jackson Walk and LIFT community. In her spare time Calista enjoys traveling, reading historical novels, and spending as much time with her grandkids as possible. Being a caregiver for her late husband she recognized the importance of supportive services. She's excited to return to her roots at Home Instead as she begins her new journey in Partnership Development.

Melanie Hendrix Office Coordinator 1

Melanie Hendrix, Office Coordinator

Melanie is originally from Nashville, TN, but moved to Milan in 1994. She and her husband Billy have two daughters, Ashley and Brittany, and is affectionately known as Nana to Landon and Gavin. Melanie recently welcomed a special great granddaughter, Maibre in October. Melanie is very involved in church activities, and enjoys traveling, yard work, and camping in her spare time. Melanie comes to Home Instead having spent 15+ years with Workforce Essentials in Jackson, along with many years of customer service experience and management. Melanie is thrilled to be the first voice you hear on the phone and the welcoming smile that greets you when you walk in.

Anna, Care Pro Experience Manager

Anna was born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee. She attended Bethel University where she played soccer and then transferred to Austin Peay State University where she studied Pre-Physical Therapy. She is now back in Jackson and is a proud mom and bonus mom to two wild boys, Liam and Ben. She enjoys spending her weekends outside with her family and fur babies or traveling for her photography work. Anna has spent years working as a caregiver and joined our family to continue to grow in this field and because it allowed her to continue caring for others in many different ways.

Jared, Client Care Manager

Jared was born and raised in Medina, TN and is proud to call Gibson Co home. Jared attended Union University studying nursing and played tuba for the Union Band. Jared went on to complete his LPN Degree at Tennessee Technology Center of Jackson in 2012. Jared married Amber in 2017, and together have a son named Asher. Jared enjoys doing things with family, and spending time outdoors. Jared is also very involved in the church that was founded by his late father, Tim Clark. Jared plays bass for the worship team and enjoys being active in the men’s ministry. Jared joined Home Instead in 2022 after working at the Tennessee State Veterans Home as a nurse for over 10 years. Jared is passionate about providing the highest quality of care, providing up to 24-hour care as needed. Jared’s attention to detail, education, and skills helps put families concerns at ease.

Claudia Chapman Key Development Leader

Claudia Chapman, Key Development Leader

Claudia Chapman was born and raised in Trenton, Tennessee. After graduating from Peabody High School, she attended UT Knoxville. She holds a BS degree in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Missouri, where she graduated in 1982. Claudia also holds a Doctorate in Natural Medicine and retired after 33 years of practice. She is an animal lover and currently resides in Brighton, Tennessee with her husband, Wayne Moon. She has 5 stepchildren, and she and her husband have a menagerie of animals that they currently care for, including horses, dogs, and cats. Claudia and her husband are involved in historical re-enacting. She is currently president of two historical organizations, and treasurer of two other historical organizations. Claudia has a passion for taking care of others, and her recent experience in senior living has sparked her passion for helping care for the elderly in our communities.

Taya Merriweather, Lead Care Professional

Taya was born and raised in Jackson, TN and has spent some time in Indiana. Taya graduated from Liberty Technology High School with Honors. She attended Jackson Community College to study nursing. Taya is now married to Kevon, with whom she has two children. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, working the media at her church, attending her children’s games, photography, and caring for others. Caring for others is how she started working for Home Instead in 2019. Taya’s role allows her to familiarize herself with our clients and Care Professionals, as well as be an extra support in training, developing, and introducing our Care Professionals in the homes of our seniors.

Home Instead Jackson employs over 90 Care Professionals who are residents of  West TN and have been carefully screened, fully bonded, and insured. Each employee takes part in our onboarding program and is introduced to hands on care. Our employees receive ongoing online and in class training assignments. These classes are not limited to Alzheimer’s & Dementia, Hospice, and Personal Care training. Our Care Pros have an average age of 53, and average tenure of 2+ years with Home Instead. We place a high priority on matching our Care Professionals with our clients to help develop a bond that will foster independence, promote well-being, and support the senior's needs with respect and dignity.
