Our Home Instead team loves to engage with our community, especially when it comes to supporting events hosted by local senior organizations. Recently, our team took part in the 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off at Morrison Woods Health Campus, a senior living community that offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care right here in Muncie.
Our Client Care Coordinator, Stevie, and Franchise Owner, Joe, entered the competition, each cooking up a delicious chili to share with attendees. Alongside the competition, Home Instead also set up a booth to speak with visitors about the range of home care services we provide. It was a great opportunity to connect with the community, enjoy some great food, and share more about how we support seniors and their families.
The event wasn't all about the chili, though. People could also enjoy a hay ride around the campus, farm animals, outdoor games, and other family-friendly activities. All proceeds from the event were donated to the Alzheimer’s Association, making the day even more meaningful.
