June 2022 Care Professional of the Month - Linda M.
Congratulations to Linda Michelmann for being our Care Professional of the Month for June! Linda is as bright and cheerful as her smile. She sees the best in circumstances and people. Read on to learn more about her.
Where were you born?
I was born in Dexter, Missouri.
Where did you grow up?
We moved around a lot but I grew up in Fort Smith and went to North Side High School. I graduated in 1975
How long have you worked at Home Instead?
I have worked for Home Instead for 2 years and 11 months and I couldn’t ask for a better place to work. They are caring, understandable and they help you in every way they can. If one can’t help, another one will. I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
What’s your favorite part of caregiving?
My favorite part of being a caregiver is working with the best people. I learn from them and I care for the people I work with. I do all I can for them.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I enjoy crocheting, helping whoever I can and I like going places. I love my family. We get together at least once a month to enjoy each other and just have fun.
Another family that Linda loves hanging out with is her church family. Whenever you see her she is smiling. Not always because of circumstances in her life, but because of the joy of the spirit that lives in her. She brings light in the room when she enters and that’s good medicine for everyone.
Thank you, Linda, for being a positive influence on others and being so dedicated to those you serve. We are proud to have you as part of our Home Instead family and recognize you as our CGOM for June. Keep up the excellent work and keep on smiling!
