Where were you born?
I was born in Fort Smith May 5, 1980.
Where did you grow up?
I’ve lived in Oklahoma and Arkansas, but not far from Fort Smith. I currently live in Lavaca.
How long have you worked at Home Instead?
I have been with Home Instead 2 ½ years.
What’s your favorite part about caregiving?
This is an important job. I’m lucky to have found it. I already spend a lot of time just helping and hanging out with people. This job makes me feel like I’ve actually made a difference in someone’s life. That’s the best part.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I enjoy camping and spend a lot of time watching movies.
Carl is modest and doesn’t like talking about himself, but there’s more you should know. He’s the person who shovels driveways for people who can’t and expects nothing in return. How he feels in his heart when he makes a difference is all the payment he needs. He’s also a very talented artist. One day you may see a design of his in a movie because he’s highly creative and pays attention to detail.
