Meet Our Team

Chris and Cheri Irons have been in the business of caring as owners of Home Instead in Indiana since September of 1996 becoming the first Home Instead Franchise in Indiana. They were drawn to the profession by their compassion for people. "We wanted to do something that made a difference," said Chris. "We also had a personal experience caring for a family member that made us realize how critical in-home assistance is." The need is clear as the business continues to thrive. Chris and Cheri currently have two offices located in Lafayette and Noblesville, IN. "The rewards in this business are immeasurable," he said. "We truly have an amazing group of dedicated CAREGivers who are changing the lives of their clients every day by helping them remain in their homes." They live in North Central Indiana with their six children, with the oldest, Anna, working in the business.

JJ Nance joined the Home Instead team in 2019 as the Operations Manager for the Lafayette Franchise. Prior to joining, JJ worked as the District Manager at ALDI in the Chicago area. He was also worked as a manager at the Lafayette Chick-fil-A for four years before ALDI. In his free time, JJ loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, as well as serving in his local church. One of JJ’s favorite quotes is, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."

Marci joined the Home Instead team in October, 2019 after a 15 year career as a school based Speech-Language Pathologist.  Having been a Caregiver during her high school and college years, Marci’s passion to not only enrich the lives of Seniors but also support their families led her to Home Instead. She feels truly blessed and grateful to work with this amazing Home Instead family.

Shannon joined the Home Instead team in August of 2020 as the Operations Assistant for the Lafayette and Noblesville Franchises. She and her husband John have one daughter whom they homeschool. Shannon is a volunteer with Kairos Prison Ministry and is serving as the Vice-President of the Advisory Council for the Rockville Women’s Correctional Facility Chapter. In her spare time, she likes to read, swim, and travel.

Jocelyn Graduated From Indiana Wesleyan University in 2023 With A Degree in Healthcare Administration. Boasting Five Years of Hands-on Experience In Long-Term Care, She Brings a Wealth Of Knowledge and Expertise to Effortlessly Coordinate Personalized Care For Each And Every Client. With a Focus on Compassion And a Dedication to Meeting Individual Needs, Jocelyn Goes the Extra Mile to Ensure Clients Receive the Best Possible Support And Assistance.

Dana started at Home Instead in August of 2023. She brings 30 plus years of experience as a CNA, including care within the hospital, Long Term Care, and Home Care. Dana is grateful to be part of this Team and to help new CAREGivers to be the best they can be.

Raini graduated from Ball State University in May of 2021, where she started her human resource journey as an assistant for a former company. She wanted a change of pace which brought her to Home Instead in November of 2022. She is pursuing a Masters Degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development.
