Last year Home Instead of Sequim, WA had the absolute pleasure to help raise money for the Sequim Wheelers through a Give65 fundraising event. The 2021 event raised $7,808 for a great cause!
Now in 2022, we are doing it again! Help more seniors in our community experience the great outdoors with a gift during the Give65 Event. Thank you for your support!
Sequim Wheeler Adaptive Bike Program:
We believe life should be celebrated every day and through our bike rides, companionship and quality time in the great outdoors, we are celebrating life one bike ride at a time. Your gift during the Give65 Event provides free, adaptive bike rides to the elderly in our community. Many grew up enjoying the fresh air and beautiful scenery of the outdoors. As you age, we don’t believe that should stop. Through your support, we’ll continue to provide bike rides to our elderly residents and help them experience the beauties of nature, recount their stories from the past and help them make new memories as they enjoy this phase of life. For many, this is the only chance they have to be outside on the Olympic Discovery Trail in Sequim, Washington, and we’re honored to be part of this journey with them.
Our Goal is $10,000! We have the chance to receive up to $5,000 in matching funds. We are also competing for an additional $10,000 in financial rewards based on how much we raise or how many donors give.

Donations of $10 or more accepted at 6 a.m. on July 12 PST until 11 p.m. PST on July 14. Matching grants always go quickly, so we’re encouraging donors to give right when the event kicks off.
