Tim and Buffy Dungan, Franchise Owners

Tim and Buffy are dedicated Occupational Therapists who have a deep understanding of the importance of preserving seniors' independence and enhancing their quality of life. Their commitment to the Home Instead family reflects their passion for helping seniors maintain their autonomy and remain in the comfort of their own homes. 

As experienced therapists, Tim and Buffy utilize their expertise in therapy techniques and assistive devices to empower seniors to continue performing their daily activities independently. They recognize the profound impact that independence can have on seniors' sense of purpose and overall satisfaction with life. 

Outside their professional endeavors, Tim and Buffy lead fulfilling lives filled with family, furry companions, and community engagement. They cherish moments spent with loved ones, including their two dogs, Sully and Sadie, and actively participate in church activities. Their active lifestyle includes travel adventures and organizing initiatives like the Be A Santa To A Senior program, spreading joy to seniors during the holiday season. 

Furthermore, Tim and Buffy's involvement in various charitable organizations such as Meals on Wheels, True Options Pregnancy Care Center, and Compassion International underscores their commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others. Their support for local community centers demonstrates their dedication to serving their community and promoting well-being on multiple fronts. As active members of the Home Care Association of America, Tim and Buffy continuously strive to uphold the highest standards of care and advocacy for seniors and their families. 

Edna Final

Edna Faaiu, Operations Manager

Edna Faaiu has been with Home Instead since 2017 and serves as the Operations Manager. Raised by an Army veteran, Edna draws strength from the values of discipline, determination, and integrity instilled in her from an early age. These principles have shaped her into a compassionate and dedicated leader.
As a devoted mother to her two daughters, Lena and Kai'ana, Edna treasures the time spent with her family. They enjoy crafting, thrifting, watching movies, playing games, and exploring new hobbies together. Edna's role as a mother is a source of joy and inspiration in her life.
Edna's management experience, coupled with her unwavering commitment to excellence, allows her to inspire and empower her team toward success. Driven by a deep sense of duty and compassion, she channels her upbringing into philanthropic endeavors aimed at creating positive change. Edna's dedication to service and her mission to build a better future for generations to come are central to her role at Home Instead.

Lena Quesada, Bookkeeper

Lena joined our team in 2020 as our bookkeeper and administrative assistant. She processes long-term care insurance claims, finalizes billings, and maintains the franchise's weekly payroll. Lena passionately believes Home Instead services impact both the seniors we care for as well as the families we serve. She has seen firsthand how Home Instead lengthens seniors' quality of life and life span. 

Lena is detail-orientated and known for learning quickly while managing a full task load. She has a joyful spirit and a great heart that she brings to the office daily.  

Lena draws passion from one of her favorite verses, Mark 10:45, "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many." 

In her free time, Lena enjoys spending time with her husband, Joseph, and her cat, Junto. She loves helping lead the middle school youth and young adult ministries at her church, Victory Life, and running her mobile coffee cart business, Motion Coffee. 

Cierra 2

Cierra Boring, Retention Coordinator

Cierra is a dedicated professional who found her calling in serving seniors through her work at Home Instead. Beginning her journey as a Recruitment Coordinator, she quickly demonstrated her passion and commitment to the cause. However, it was her transition to the role of Retention Coordinator that truly allowed her to shine. 

In her current capacity, Cierra plays a pivotal role in orienting, training, and retaining the compassionate Care Professionals who ensure seniors receive top-notch care. Her genuine care for the elderly is evident in every interaction, as she goes above and beyond to ensure they receive the support they deserve. 

Outside of her professional life, Cierra finds joy and fulfillment in spending time with her husband and their four children. Whether it's cozy evenings at home or relaxing by the lake, their family time is cherished and valued above all else. 

With her unwavering dedication, compassionate heart, and strong family values, Cierra is making a meaningful difference both in her career and personal life. She truly embodies the spirit of service and empathy, enriching the lives of seniors and her loved ones alike.

Paige Moore, Service Coordinator

Paige is a dedicated professional with nearly two years of experience at Home Instead, where she serves as a scheduler. In this role, Paige excels in matching clients with caregivers, ensuring optimal care and support for each individual. Beyond her career, Paige is a loving mother of two sons, balancing her professional responsibilities with her family life seamlessly. 

Outside of work and family commitments, Paige finds joy in various hobbies. She is an outdoor enthusiast who appreciates spending time amidst nature, finding solace and inspiration in the great outdoors. Additionally, Paige enjoys the thrill of working on her motorcycle, embracing the freedom of the open road. In quieter moments, she indulges her creative side through the art of macramé, weaving intricate patterns and designs with skill and passion. 

With her compassionate nature, organizational expertise, and diverse interests, Paige embodies a well-rounded individual committed to enriching the lives of others both professionally and personally.

Marina Pusateri, Recruitment Coordinator

Marina Pusateri is the vibrant recruiter at Home Instead, bringing dedicated service to the team. Born and raised amidst the warm deserts of Tucson, Arizona, Marina has woven the Texan spirit into her identity, now proudly calling Texas her home. Beyond her professional endeavors, Marina finds solace and joy in the simplicity of home life and finds inspiration and rejuvenation in soaking in the beauty of nature. Newly married, she cherishes moments spent with her loved ones, including her beloved Australian Shepherd, Trooper, who adds an extra layer of warmth and excitement to their home. Marina Pusateri embodies a unique blend of warmth, determination, and adventurous spirit in both her personal and professional life.

Sandra Mathews, Office Coordinator

Greetings! I'm Sandra Mathews, and I find purpose in serving as the Office Coordinator at Home Instead in beautiful Sherman, Texas. Here, I oversee the scheduling of consultations for new clients and their families with dedication and a heart for our mission. 

Beyond the office, my life is adorned with the joys of family. With two wonderful children and the companionship of a cat and a dog, our home is always brimming with warmth and love. 

Nature beckons me with its allure, and I often find solace in outdoor activities. Whether it's a leisurely hike through the scenic trails or a playful game in the backyard with my furry friends, I cherish these moments of connection with the world around me. 

But what truly ignites my spirit is my commitment to caring for seniors and veterans. Their wisdom, resilience, and stories inspire me daily. Advocating for their well-being is not just a profession for me; it's a heartfelt passion that drives me to make a difference in their lives, one compassionate gesture at a time.

Haley Fletcher, Client Care Coordinator

Haley joined our Home Instead team as our Client Care Coordinator. Haley performs various duties related to client care, including care consultations with potential clients and family members, client/CAREPro introductions and quality assurance visits with existing clients. She evaluates each client’s needs to provide solutions and create a tailored service plan. Haley continuously evaluates the plan through ongoing communications and visits to ensure high-quality care, client satisfaction, and retention. 

Personally, Haley is a dynamic individual whose blend of responsibility and compassion sets her apart. With extensive customer service skills, she excels at connecting with others and creating positive experiences. A true lover of creativity, Haley finds joy in the imaginative worlds of Dungeons and Dragons, where storytelling comes to life. When not at the gaming table, she expresses her artistic flair through various forms of art, like painting, and seeks inspiration in the beauty of nature. Haley's unique perspective and genuine care for others make her a valuable presence in any setting, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a moment of creativity.

Amanda Long, Weekend On-Call Coordinator

Amanda Long joined our team as a Weekend On-Call Coordinator. She performs various administrative duties including answering incoming telephone calls, scheduling replacement CarePros as needed, performing client/CarePro introductions, and caregiving if needed, supporting other staff members to provide the highest quality services to clients.
