On Friday August 12th Home Instead of Fayetteville had the distinct pleasure to attend a Fayetteville Woodpeckers minor league baseball game where we helped "Paint the Park Purple" for Alzheimer's Awareness!
Proceeds from the night will go to support the 2022 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Fayetteville taking place on October 29th. The purpose of the Alzheimer's Walk is to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.
The Woodpeckers all wore purple at the game and there was also a jersey auction to help support the upcoming walk! The inaugural Paint the Park Purple took place in 2019 and has since raised over $16,000 for the Alzheimer's Association.
The Home Instead Fayetteville team had a fantastic time at the game. We came out in full force, dressed in purple and even got to see our team name on the scoreboard!
We strive to provide the very best home care in Fayetteville, NC and participating in important senior causes like this one is one of the many ways we show our passion for supporting our local elderly population.
