Your Home Instead Senior Care franchise owners possess a heartfelt desire to work with seniors in their community. It's the reason why they were chosen to serve seniors and their families right here in Montgomery and the surrounding counties.

Bill and Sheila Purnell have personal experience with family care-giving needs, as Sheila and her siblings cared for their aging father so he could continue living independently. The Purnells use their strong interpersonal skills, team orientation, and desire to succeed to help their clients "live life to its fullest" and to give the families of those they serve "hope and encouragement." They have assembled a dedicated office staff to help them in their quest to provide Montgomery and the surrounding counties with the highest quality home care available.

Sherry is the Financial Assistant and comes to Home Instead Senior Care with over 40 years of accounting experience. Sherry is always available and is a great resource to both clients and CAREGivers for questions and concerns. She is detail oriented and efficient in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. Sherry and her sisters were family Caregivers for their mom before her passing and helped her recognize the importance of the services that Home Instead Senior Care provides for families, just like theirs. In her free time, Sherry enjoys spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Sherry is passionate about her family and that passion is what brought her here to Home Instead Senior Care. She is also very active in her church in Eclectic.

Vickie is a Human Resources Assistant and has been a part of the Home Instead Senior Care team since May of 2017. Vickie has two decades of communications, marketing, and business administrative experience that has helped her recognize that it's the "little things" that sets a company apart. Having elderly parents herself, a mother with dementia and a father who passed away in 2016 with cancer, Vickie knows the importance of selecting and training caregivers who will be compassionate and caring to our clients. Vickie received a B.S. in Communications and Marketing from Georgia Southern University and went on to receive a Masters of Business Administration specializing in Healthcare at Southern University. She is a native of Georgia and has resided in Montgomery Alabama for 19 years. During her down time Vickie enjoys leading a youth ministry team at her church and watching her daughter compete in gymnastics competitions and perform during dance and piano recitals.

Tracie is the Quality Care Coordinator at Home Instead Senior Care. A graduate from Auburn University of Montgomery with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 18 years with experience in oncology and hospice care. She came to Home Instead Senior Care with a desire to serve seniors in the community and to utilize her nursing background. Tracie is committed and passionate about making a positive difference in lives of seniors in the community, by helping them remain in their homes with non-medical support. Tracie performs home visits to check in on the well-being of our clients, the efficiency of our Caregivers, and to ensure that all needs are being met with the highest level of quality care. In her free time, Tracie and her family enjoy spending time together, going to church and making memories at the beach.
