Frankfort August 2021 Client & CAREGiver Spotlight - Janet V. & June W.
Meet Janet and her Professional CAREGiver, June, Frankfort’s Spotlight Team for August! Miss Janet does Sales & Marketing for a 3rd party company for Wal-Mart. Before that, she and her husband had a building business and Janet did plumbing and electrical work! She was also a child advocate for a school system, so to say she is a ‘jack of all trades’ in an understatement. She cared for the children at her school as if they were her own and was called “mom” by a lot of them. She raised 3 boys and 1 girl of her own, who all became successful partly due to the fact that Janet made sure they got a good education.
June helps Janet with home chores since Ms. Janet is wheelchair bound. June has always been a caregiver in some form. She has helped a friend who was blind, her mother-in-law and then her late husband after his heart transplant. Taking care of people comes naturally to June and Ms. Janet says she is good at it. When June comes, she never sits down. She is up doing chores and knows what needs to be done without being asked. Ms. Janet says her house is spotless after June leaves and she truly appreciates that. “I want to be like June when I’m 70”, says Janet. June also admires Ms. Janet, saying “She has a good sense of humor and is a go getter”. We are so proud of this team and how they “Share Their Hearts” together. We wish Ms. Janet and June many more years together!
