Our March 2022 Brian Geenty Caring Star is... Sylvia Garcia!
Sylvia Garcia came to Home Instead in January of this year and has already touched the hearts of so many of her clients. She is truly a “Guardian Angel” of care and support to everyone she touches. Sylvia has a passion to assist not only her clients, but the families of clients as well. Here at Home Instead, our greatest challenge has been managing her time, as every client she goes to wants her back! She leads from her heart and has already proven that there is no challenge she can’t manage through her kindness and a supportive smile. Recently, Sylvia experienced one of her greatest challenges, as one of her clients sadly passed in the night while sleeping. For many, this experience would be overwhelming, but not for Sylvia. She supported the spouse, contacted Home Instead and the family, and remained present to provide comfort throughout their time of need. The family described her actions as priceless and even asked her to be present during a private memorial service.
Home Instead salutes Sylvia Garcia as the “Caring Star Award Winner” for the month of March! She is not only an exceptional person, but the first CAREGiver to receive this award so soon in her career! Congratulations, Sylvia from your Home Instead family!
