2022 has brought us a new development in our CAREGiver team; a CAREGiving couple. Phil retired from his medical career as an EMT, paramedic and finally an O.R. nurse at Children’s Mercy to become a CAREGiver for Home Instead. Two weeks later his wife, Karen, recently retired from her medical laboratory career joined our CAREGiving team. Both have brought their professionalism and compassionate energy to many of our clients. Their life experiences and enjoyment of connecting with others has been a great value to the clients they’ve served. Congratulations Phil and Karen – our first ever “CAREGiving Couple of the Month”.
