As the year ends, we wanted to give a recap of our Be a Santa to a Senior program. Our community showed a ton of support and we couldn't be prouder of the amount of gifts we were able to deliver to seniors in need. Home Instead is committed to providing the best home care in Beatrice, NE as well as support for seniors throughout our service area and beyond.
Our team started participating in this program eight years ago. Throughout the years, it has evolved into a thriving outreach effort, touching the lives of numerous seniors. This year, our goal was to bring cheer to 200 seniors, building upon the success of previous years when we provided approximately 150 gifts.
The eighth anniversary of its "Be a Santa to a Senior" program was featured in the Beatrice Daily Sun. It touched on our team, along with dedicated volunteers and local youth, delivering gifts to seniors in our community. Our owner, Lindsey Clabaugh, expressed pride in the program's growth, emphasizing the community's collective effort to bring joy to seniors. Our Home Care Consultant, Kim Seggerman, was also featured in the article, and she highlighted collaboration with community partners, including local retailers and organizations like St. Paul's and the Beatrice High School Key Club.
