Last Sunday, the Home Instead of West Suffolk County, NY team joined over 1,000 participants for the 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Belmont Lake State Park. 182 teams came together to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. The event was an overwhelming success, with the community raising over $275,000, exceeding our original goal of $260,000!
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a fundraiser that brings families, caregivers, and supporters together to raise awareness and advocate for Alzheimer’s research. The funds raised help the Alzheimer’s Association provide support for those impacted by the disease, as well as fuel research efforts aimed at finding a cure.
Donations are still being accepted for those who couldn’t make it to the walk. Every dollar brings us one step closer to a world without Alzheimer’s. Click Here to Make a Donation!
