The Home Instead team got to enjoy some amazing weather and delicious crawfish at the Hospice House Crawfish Cookoff. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with people in our community as we worked the drink booth to go with the All You Can Eat Crawfish. This was the 16th year the Hospice House hosted this fundraiser and based on the crowds we saw, perhaps the biggest event yet! We are truly grateful to have the chance to help them out during their event.
If you haven't heard of the Hospice House, they are a non-profit organization in this area that provides a home to terminally ill patients during their final days. This service costs nothing to the patients and makes an enormous difference to patients and their families as they spend their last moments with loved ones. The House is one-of-a-kind in this community, making it all the more important to support.
We are always excited for the chance to support a GREAT cause and discuss how Home Instead provides great home care in St. Tammany Parish. Thank you to the Hospice House for inviting us to set up our booth at the event, and thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by our booth. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
