The Home Instead team is always advocating for the protection of seniors and families seeking in-home support. We recently joined more than 40 HCAOA members and staff at the state Capitol in Sacramento to support AB 2185, a crucial bill aimed at safeguarding seniors and families hiring in-home support. The bill seeks to address the issue of compensation for home care workers and independent contractors, particularly relevant in California with the growing demand for services.
