Bob Janet Baumgart

Bob & Janet Baumgart

Bob and Janet jointly own the Home Instead office based in Waukee & Ames. Their office opened in 2002 and has served the needs of Seniors in Dallas, Story, Boone, Warren, and Madison counties. Janet is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree from Methodist College of Nursing in Omaha, Nebraska. Bob has a business background with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.

Their commitment to the people they serve is evident through their community outreach and strong desire to obtain the highest quality CAREgivers and staff. They are active in their children’s schools, Communities, Chamber of Commerce, and participate in many Community Betterment projects every year. Bob also sits on a National Advocacy team that regularly speaks to our Legislators in D.C. regarding access to care for seniors in Iowa.

Their mission is to Professionally and Compassionately help people craft their own vision of aging. Through this mission they continue to positively impact the lives of hundreds of families in Central Iowa by giving them the ability to stay independent and safe in their own homes.

Amy Alden-General Manager

Amy Alden, Vice President of Operations

Amy's primary role is to ensure that Home Instead's clients are satisfied with the service being provided, and is a valuable link to the families of these clients. She believes that everyone should have an opportunity to enjoy the freedom of aging at home. Because of her extremely close relationship with her grandmother, she recognizes the value of adding to someone's quality of life and appreciates the way companionship nourishes the spirit.

Reilly Adams, General Manager

Reilly's passion for elder care began during her early career as a Caregiver at Home Instead and has evolved through her ongoing education and experience as a Registered Nurse. With a foundation of nursing in the local hospitals, Reilly brings a wealth of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the challenges seniors face. Reilly is dedicated to identifying personalized solutions for individuals navigating the complexities of aging. Her vision is to redefine what traditional long-term care looks like through Home Instead, offering tailored home care solutions that prioritize individual needs and preferences.

As General Manager, Reilly leverages her comprehensive understanding of leadership development, quality standards, and client needs and satisfaction to ensure that Home instead delivers exceptional, personalized care. Empowering families and caregivers alike with the support they need to navigate and manage the challenges of aging with dignity and respect.

Outside of work, Reilly finds joy in spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, camping, and actively impacting her community. Her personal interests not only reflect her dedication to personal relationships and wellness but also her commitment to making a positive difference beyond the scope of her professional career.

Tiffany Bradley Staff Coordinator 1

Tiffany Bradley, Scheduling Manager

Tiffany's primary role is to manage the weekly schedules of Home Instead's clients and Care Pros. She also acts as a valuable communicator with the families we serve. Tiffany enjoys knowing that people are safe and happy in their own homes, and she likes knowing that her job plays a small role in ensuring that safety and independence occurs every day.

Marcey Propp, Client Care Manager

Marcey, the Client Care Manager at Home Instead, is passionately dedicated to helping aging adults achieve their vision of living. With many years of leadership experience, she leads with a servant heart, ensuring that each client's needs are met with individualized care and attention. Marcey's extensive background in business and her hands-on experience as a CNA in long-term care and memory care during her high school and college years uniquely position her to provide comprehensive and compassionate solutions for families navigating the challenges of aging. Her commitment to prioritizing clients and crafting personalized care plans underscores her dedication to enhancing the quality of life for those she serves.
Outside of the office, Marcey loves to spend time with her son and husband, enjoying the outdoors through activities like biking, hiking, kayaking, and staying active. She has three dogs that bring her joy, and a lot of walks. Marcey is passionate about serving youth and is involved in many foundations. Marcey will be the proud parent of an ISU student, eagerly supporting ISU's music and athletics programs.

Melissa Searle, Home Care Consultant

Melissa began her professional journey as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant after college. Early in her career, she discovered her passion and found joy in helping aging individuals learn strategies to maintain their independence and quality of life. Motivated by this passion and her aspirations to be an expert in the field, she pursued further education and earned her Bachelor's degree in Gerontology. Armed with this additional knowledge, Melissa expanded her practice to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to helping the aging community thrive and achieve their individual goals.
As a Home Care Consultant, Melissa works diligently to bring these solutions to where elders thrive best—their homes. She collaborates closely with home health providers, hospice teams, physicians, and other allied health professionals to fulfill Home Instead's mission of professionally and compassionately helping people craft their own vision of aging. 
Outside of work, Melissa cherishes moments spent with her family. Together, they enjoy activities like camping, hiking, and kayaking, as well as the simple pleasure of preparing meals and gathering around the table. Melissa is also deeply engaged in her community, dedicating her time and efforts to various clubs and school events.

Debbie Baker, Recruiting Coordinator

Debbie has become an invaluable member of the Home Instead team as our Recruiting Coordinator. In this pivotal role, she orchestrates the recruitment process by managing logistics, communication, and candidate experiences, significantly enhancing our hiring efforts.

Debbie excels at conducting personal interviews, allowing her to connect with applicants and showcase their unique strengths in providing exceptional care for our clients. Her responsibilities extend to coordinating interview schedules, processing essential paperwork, and ensuring compliance with Home Instead’s rigorous hiring standards.

As the central point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters, Debbie fosters timely communication and seamless information flow throughout the recruitment journey. She is passionate about implementing strategies that enhance the candidate experience, from initial outreach to onboarding, ultimately improving retention and elevating our employer brand.

In addition to her recruiting expertise, Debbie plays a key role in supporting various administrative processes within Home Instead, demonstrating her versatility and unwavering commitment to our mission.

Michelle Dickson, Care Pro Development

Michelle's journey in elder care has been diverse and fulfilling, leading her to find her passion at Home Instead. Starting as a Care Professional and progressing through various office roles, she has gained a deep understanding of the industry. Currently, as the Care Professional Engagement and Development Coordinator, she focuses on training Care Professionals in Dementia care, particularly Alzheimer's, and supporting their career growth. Her dedication to elderly clients' well-being and her team's development is evident. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, exploring antique shops, and reading, balancing her career with personal passions for a well-rounded and fulfilling life.
