At Home Instead, we love every opportunity to connect with our vibrant senior community. One of our favorite monthly events is the Battle Ground Senior Citizens luncheon—an event that brings together valuable senior resources, local vendors, and supportive individuals from across Vancouver.
During the luncheon, our Home Care Consultant, Debi, had the honor of presenting nominations for the Senior Heroes Awards. The awards go to outstanding seniors to show that no matter your age, you are still a valued member of our community.
We were pleased to meet the new Battle Ground Police Chief, Dennis Flynn, who took the time to introduce himself and engage with attendees. Lunch was provided by Taco Bell (Pacific Bells Inc), and Teresa's Treats added a sweet touch with their desserts.
The Vancouver community consistently shows incredible support for community programs like our Christmas in July sock drive and Be a Santa to a Senior program. We're grateful for their generosity and enthusiasm in making a positive impact on seniors' lives.
