At Home Instead of Vancouver, WA, we believe in supporting our community year-round. Recently, we partnered with Battle Ground Senior Citizens, Inc. for our Christmas in July sock drive. The generous citizens of Battle Ground came together to donate socks, t-shirts, and underwear, all of which will be given to the Clark County Veterans Assistance Center (CCVAC).
The Clark County Veterans Assistance Center (CCVAC) provides a welcoming and safe spot for Clark County Veterans and their families. They support veterans by reintegrating them into the community and offering services, including financial aid through the Veteran’s Assistance Fund, assistance with VA claims and benefits, and free clothing, food, hygiene items, and outdoor equipment for homeless veterans.
Thanks to our wonderful helpers, Dick Halvorson and Amanda McCallum, who packed and loaded socks into the Home Instead car. As we strive to provide the best home care in Vancouver, WA, we will continue looking for ways to support seniors and veterans with events like the Christmas in July sock drive.
