How long have you worked at Home Instead?
A little over a year.
What’s your favorite part of caregiving?
My favorite part of being a caregiver is being able to bring a little joy, compassion and humor to the client and their family! My family is considered a “helping” family and I was taught to give back to those around you. Growing up, I ‘ve watched my mother and grandmother take care of others with very little complaints, always hearing the phrase, “God sees al! If I can help in any way, I will, you never know when you may need help yourself one day."
Tell us little bit about yourself:
I am from the little town of Lena, MS. I am the oldest of seven and I take my role as the big sister and sibling mom very seriously! I am known to be a busy body, but in the manner of I’m always trying to help others. I attend medical school at UMMC to hopefully obtain a degree in DNAP (Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice) to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist! Fingers crossed!
