Therese Zdesar

Therese Zdesar, RN, BSN

Therese Zdesar, RN, BSN, is the president and owner of QualCare, LLC, dba Home Instead Senior Care. She is a graduate of the University of Akron College of Nursing and previously worked as an RN with seniors and in administration The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, Ohio.

She has a deep passion and love for serving seniors and credits her experience living with and caring for her grandmother as the heart of her beliefs. In 2001, Therese opened QualCare, LLC, a Northeast Ohio based home care company that assists older adults with private duty care at home. Over the past two decades, she and QualCare, LLC have been the recipients of over fifty professional and business awards, including being named by Inc. magazine to its prestigious Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in America. She was named a top 10 Women Business Owner of Northeast Ohio and her business has been recognized for strong organizational culture of family and significant community philanthropic involvement.

Therese is passionate about being a servant leader and has served on several boards including The United Way, The Children's Museum of Cleveland, and the Chagrin Athletic Association. Therese and her husband Joe, a captain on the Cleveland Fire Department, and are the proud parents of five children and are licensed foster parents. She is an active speaker on issues such as senior care, successful aging, leadership and organizational culture. Therese is also an author of the book, 'Perspectives" in which she discusses the importance of a strong organizational culture.

Therese and her team are passionate about serving each senior and their families with personalized and compassionate care. They are proud to be recognized as a local employer of choice.

Nancy Brothers, LPN, Executive Director

Nancy Brothers, LPN is the Executive Director at Home Instead. She loves helping people learn, grow, and make a difference in the lives of our clients. Most of her career has been in the nursing, gaining experiences in areas of Hospital Floor Nursing, Assisted Living Wellness Director, and Skilled Home Care Manager. While leading the team here is her primary job function by day, Nancy also enjoys singing in her Church Choir and spending time with her sizable family.  She has 5 brothers and 1 sister. Nancy is an experienced Nurse, Care Manager, and Caregiver. Driven by the desire to help clients and employees feel loved and respected, she takes pride in providing the best care possible. Her goals include providing an exceptional experience to each of our clients and helping her team communicate well to provide the best care.
Nancy’s passion for patient care can be traced back to her Grandmother and Mom, both nurses, from whom she learned about caring for those in pain and supporting them during their time of need. As a Nurse Care Manager / Executive Director, she specializes in care, coaching, and working with her team to solve problems. 
Home Instead is personal to Nancy because caring for clients and their families is an honor. Having cared for her own parents she knows the stress and anxiety it causes to have a family member decline. Having someone really understand and try to help make the best decisions for your loved one is very hard and complex. She knows that sharing information and resources can make all the difference in a person's quality of life.
Glynis Caluducan 2

Glynis Caluducan, Office Coordinator

Glynis Caluducan is the Office Coordinator at Home Instead and loves helping people be the best version of themselves. She has spent most of her career in the medical industry as a medical assistant then an STNA. While accounts payable/receivable is her primary job function by day, Glynis also enjoys music and watching her kids play sports.
Glynis is an experienced CAREGiver and always willing to share her knowledge. Her goals include finishing nursing school and to someday own a fine arts/vocational studio. In addition to her primary job functions, Glynis has been recognized by her co-workers for her extraordinary commitment to acknowledging milestones and achievements.
As an Office Coordinator, she specializes in accounts payable/receivable, streamlining office functions and overseeing on call. She also assists others in the office when needed.
Glynis Caluducan is married with 2 kids. She also has 2 dogs and a cat. Along with being the treasurer of the Perry PTA, she volunteers for other organizations on a regular basis. Her family lives and breathes basketball all year long! “Being married to a basketball coach, it’s hard to not to be involved with the game.”
Glynis says, “To me, Home Instead is like one big family. You get to know the clients and they start to feel like family too. Office staff is always making sure they know what is going on with the CAREGivers on a professional and personal level. We really do make it personal because we want what is best for them.”
Team Member Hailey

Hailey Veasley, Client Service Manager

Hailey Veasley is the Client Services Manager at Home Instead. She loves helping people meet others with which they can develop wholesome relationships and uses her position to encourage both clients' families and our Care Professionals to practice self-care. Driven by her own experience of caring for clients, her professional goal is to change the way homecare matches are made between clients and Care Professionals. She takes pride in creating the best possible matches between clients and Care Pros!

Hailey has spent most of her career in the helping-people industry, gaining experience in areas such as hospital care, caring for family members, and years of experienced senior care. In her free time she continues to pursue education in the medical field. In addition to her primary job functions, Hailey has been recognized by Home Instead with the "Hardt of a CAREGiver" Award as a former Care Professional for her extraordinary commitment to picking up last minute shifts and providing excellent care in challenging cases.

Robin McNutt, Client Care Manager

Robin McNutt is a Client Care Manager at Home Instead and loves caring for people and making sure their needs are met, she has a special place in her heart for caring for those in hospice care. Robin’s career spans 45 years of experience that includes skilled care. Robin is an experienced caregiver and takes to bring added value and quality in her profession and the lives of her clients. She is recognized for her extraordinary commitment to Home instead. She loves spending time with her family and especially enjoys movie night with her grandchildren. Home Instead is personal to Robin, she says, “I love the compassion the moment you walk in the door, it is a pleasant place to work here and I am proud to be on a Home instead team”
Karyn Tankersley

Karyn Tankersley, Client Care Manager

Karyn is a Client Care Manager at Home Instead and loves helping people learn and thrive. She has spent most of her career in the nonprofit industry, gaining experiences in areas such as education and systems management. While Client Care Manager is her primary job function by day, Karyn also enjoys teaching bible classes, singing, and spending time with her children. Karyn is the proud mama of 6 children including fraternal twins. Karyn is an experienced administrator and educator. Driven by her passion for helping people, she takes pride in providing the best solutions possible to help families. Her goals include being an active listener, building relationships, and finding solutions to support families.
Karyn's passion for helping people can be traced back to 2012, where she spent significant time working on building the nonprofit formerly known as Babywearing International of Cleveland and volunteering with the local Le Leche League. As a Membership Director, she specialized in communication and outreach.
Karyn says, “I have a family history of Alzheimer’s in both my family and my husband’s family so helping families build their support systems to stay at home where Mom or Dad can best remember gives me great satisfaction and hope for my own future!”.

Teddy, Animal Therapy Manager

Teddy is a goldendoodle and is proud to take over animal therapy after his brother, Charlie. Teddy says his mission as a therapy dog is simple: to spread smiles, inspire kindness and bring comfort to those in need. He never tires of playing catch with a tennis ball and loves pepperoni.
