Amir Ghoddoussi - Owner

Amir Ghoddoussi, Owner

Amir has a Master's in Business Administration from Pfeiffer University and has worked in the health field for the past 6 years. He is more than happy to assist you with a no-obligation consultation in your home or at the office. Utilizing your Long Term Care insurance or VA benefits can be confusing, but he is here to help you better understand the process and plan for your home care needs. If you have any questions about Long Term Care Insurance or VA benefits, please call Amir at 910-342-0455.

Tammy Godusi - Owner/Nurse Director

Tammy Godusi, Owner/Nurse Director

Tammy is the Nursing Director of Home Instead Senior Care and a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of medical experience. Her background has been in hospital Medical-Surgical, Orthopedics, and Case Management. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Barton College in Wilson, NC, she concentrated her career in Geriatrics and Case Management. She obtained her Certification in Case Management after realizing she loved assisting patients and families through the healthcare system. In addition to nursing, Tammy is the mother of 3 boys and has lived here in North Carolina for 30 years.

Kristdel Vestal, General Manager

As General Manager, Kristdel oversees the daily operations of Home Instead Senior Care, ensuring that our high standards are met with exceptional CAREGivers and customer service. In addition to daily operations, she is also responsible for online marketing/networking, accounts receivables, client billing inquiries, and specializes in Long Term Care Insurance. Kristdel graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. Kristdel has worked for the past 10 years in home care and truly loves working with Seniors and their families.

Daniella "Dani" Means, Operations Manager

Dani’s role is to oversee the Scheduling Coordinator team and personally match our CAREGiving staff to their clients to ensure the utmost compatibility. Her previous work experience gives her great insight in making sure our CAREGivers and Clients are 100% satisfied with Home Instead! Some of Dani’s greatest strengths are her compassion to help others, her ability to effectively communicate, problem-solving, and having an empathetic disposition to clients and CAREGiver's alike. She also conducts a portion of our classroom style CAREGiver training program, ensuring our CAREGivers understand scheduling processes and the care standards of Home Instead Senior Care.

MaryAnn Turano, Recruitment Coordinator

As Human Resources Coordinator, Maryann is responsible for ensuring that our CAREGiving team has the resources they need to provide exceptional care to our clients. She encourages CAREGivers, provides moral support, as well as reinforces policies and procedures. According to Maryann, "I am passionate about supporting, encouraging, and caring for adults during their golden years. Working at Home Instead has given me the opportunity to fulfill my passion to care for older adults in a way that satisfies their individual personal needs. In her current position, Maryann is also responsible for hosting new CAREGivers at their initial orientation and showcasing why Home Instead Senior Care is the best place in Wilmington to work!

Brittany Meskimen - Client Care Coordinator

Brittany Meskimen, Caregiver Development Coordinator

Brittany’s passion for providing exceptional caregiver training developed from her years as a CNA, so she understands how vital it is to set the Home Instead caregiver team up for success. As a Caregiver Development Coordinator, Brittany designs our orientation classes and in-service classes to ensure that caregivers are knowledgeable and well-equipped. Brittany teaches on a variety of senior care topics, including Personal Care Skills Training, CPR / First Aid, Parkinson's, Senior Nutrition, and more!

Stephanie Penaloza - On-Call Supervisor

Stephanie Penaloza, On-Call Manager

As the On-Call Supervisor, Stephanie oversees after-hours and weekend operations and staff. She has cared for the needs of clients, supported and trained internal staff, and assumed many administrative roles as the company has grown. With a heart for seniors, Stephanie ensures there is a compassionate and knowledgeable voice that will address care inquiries (no matter what time you’re calling!) and client/caregiver needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Providing consistent support to our weekend and overnight warriors is critically important at Home Instead Senior Care.

Amber Taylor, Client Care Coordinator / Alzheimer's & Dementia Specialist

Amber is a Client Care Coordinator in the Hampstead / Pender County and Northern Wilmington areas. As a Client Care Coordinator, she gets to relieve stress in the lives of families that she works with. Amber finds great fulfillment in connecting wonderful CAREGivers with clients and witnessing clients feel safer with a higher quality of life. She also finds it rewarding to provide clients' loved ones with peace of mind knowing their family member is spending time with a CAREGiver that cares about them. She loves using her great communication skills to ensure clients and their loved ones are confident in their decision to choose Home Instead!

Grace Wilson, Client Care Coordinator

Grace is a Client Care Coordinator in the central Wilmington and Carolina / Kure Beach areas. As a Client Care Coordinator, with her immeasurable experience, professionalism, and kindness, Grace meets with potential clients and their families to share information about Home Instead’s services. Once on board, she regularly connects with them to ensure that they are receiving exceptional care. She loves bringing peace of mind to her clients, their family members, and friends. Grace is always there to help them celebrate the good times as well as to face and work through the challenging ones with "grace" and dignity. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University and truly enjoys using her skillset to ensure clients, families, and referral providers are having their physical, social, and emotional needs met at home.

Sarah Thompson, Client Care Coordinator

Sarah is the Client Care and Marketing Coordinator for the Leland / Southport / Oak Island areas. She is positive and compassionate in her work, and our military veterans hold a special place in her heart. She enjoys using her problem-solving skills to connect clients with the best caregiver that lifts their quality of life and gives them hope. Sarah loves connecting with new people, so community events and marketing opportunities are her jam! She received her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University and truly enjoys using her skillset to ensure clients, families, and referral providers are confident in their decision to choose Home Instead.

Amber Mossor, Scheduling Coordinator

Amber offers much compassion in her role as a Scheduling Coordinator.  Amber relies on her years of scheduling and leadership experience to ensure the Scheduling Squad is creating perfect matches between clients and their Care Professionals. Her ability to adapt to sudden changes with effective solutions often gives her the title of scheduling wizard.

Cayton Elderdice, Client Care Assistant

Cayton is the most recent addition to the team as a Client Care Assistant! She was previously a care professional, so she knows EXACTLY what it takes to ensure that our clients are thriving at home. Cayton uses her caregiving expertise to ensure that caregivers are prepared and well-trained before working with clients in the homes. Cayton helps all of our internal departments by filling in wherever necessary to ensure that our staff is well supported.

Sheila Ball, Registered Nurse

Sheila is a registered nurse with over 30 years of home care and nursing experience! Her responsibilities include training new care professionals, creating plans of care for all new and existing clients, conducting supervisory visits with our stellar team, and assisting our clients with any nursing needs.

Jennifer Tyner, Registered Nurse

Jennifer joined our team with a wealth of experience in the field. She  takes deep pride in her work and wants to do well in all she does. Amy Mathis, Registered Nurse

​Amy is a registered nurse and performs our quality assurance visits with our clients. She also conducts our personal care trainings for our new caregivers. Amy works hand in hand with our caregivers to make sure our clients are safe and healthy.
