Our Home Instead team just had another round of Certified Home Health Aide Course (CHHA) Clinical Training. It was an exciting week filled with invaluable learning experiences for a fantastic group of soon-to-be Care Professionals. We take great pride in providing comprehensive training opportunities to individuals interested in caregiver jobs in Morris County, NJ.
The CHHA Clinical Training is a vital part of our commitment to delivering the highest quality care to aging adults and their families. During this paid training, made possible through a grant in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, participants acquire essential skills and the knowledge necessary to provide compassionate and personalized home care for our clients. From learning how to help with basic, daily activities to understanding effective communication techniques, our training equips caregivers with the tools they need to make a difference for the people we serve.
Thanks to the grant we received from the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development, participants in this training are PAID for their time! The training consists of 60 hours of online coursework divided up across four weeks, as well as four mandatory four-hour classes at our office, once per week. On the fifth week, there are a mandatory 16 hours of live, hands-on clinical skills training at our office with our nurse, completed over two consecutive days from 9 am-5 pm.
Participants are paid $600 for the 5-6 weeks of training, and Home Instead of Morris County covers ALL COSTS associated with training and licensure!
