Family Owned and Operated
Home Instead has been family owned and operated since our establishment on Main Street in downtown Bel Air more than 20 years ago. We strive to serve our seniors and their families — so they may face the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, compassion and comfort — and to serve our devoted CAREGivers — so they may find rewarding, fulfilling work in service to others.
We live and work in this community and remain committed to contributing to it however we can. Whether it's sponsoring the Walk to End Alzheimer's at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen or collecting Christmas gift donations for lonely, isolated seniors, we are always looking for opportunities to help others.
To Us, It’s Personal®
Our founders, Paul and Lori Hogan, launched Home Instead in 1994 to provide care to Paul’s 90-year-old grandmother. Remarkably, after she began receiving personalized, in-home care that allowed her to age safely in the place she loved most – the family home – Grandma Manhart thrived for an additional decade!
That’s why, to us, senior care is personal. We’re passionate about expanding the world’s capacity to care.
