February 2022 CAREGiver of the Month – Debbie O.
We have been lucky to have Debbie on our team for just over two years now! Originally from Ohio, Debbie has called Denver home for the past 43 years. When she found Home Instead, she was looking for a meaningful part-time job after retiring from her 41-year professional career as a surgery scheduler.
Being a caregiver and someone who helps those in need comes naturally to Debbie who has been volunteering for the Westminster Police Department for over 16 years as a victims’ advocate. Most recently, she provided support, assistance and resources to those affected by the Boulder fires. Debbie loves this job because of the amazing people she meets and the stories she hears.
A fun fact about Debbie; she brings what she calls a “bag of tricks” with her on her care shifts that contains cards, puzzles, dice and other fun games she can engage her clients with during their time together.
