November Professional Caregiver of Month- Kayla F!
Kayla is a cat lover, born and raised in Colorado, and has been on our team for almost a year. While she had some experience working in a care community, she was new to in-home caregiving when she came on board. She says that making that change from working in a care community to providing one-one-one, personalized, in-home care, has been a wonderful experience! Kayla feels strongly that seniors are their happiest and most comfortable when they can remain in their homes. She loves walking through the front door to see their welcoming and smiling faces knowing she is there to care for them and be a bright spot in their day. The daughter of one of her clients says, “Kayla has been with our parents since April of 2022. Since she first came to our house, she has made every effort to make sure that she was and is giving our parents the best possible care. She takes pride in her job and that shows every day. She was here at the house when Mom passed away recently and couldn't have been more helpful and compassionate. Our family never has to worry about anything when Kayla is at the house.” Kayla is dedicated to her clients and is most deserving of this recognition not only for the amazing care she provides, but for her professional demeanor, dependability, communication skills, and positive attitude. One caregiving tip Kayla would share with her “fellow Caregivers” as she refers to them, is to always treat those you care for the way you would want to be treated one day and to always communicate, communicate, communicate!
