April Professional Caregiver of the Month: Paul K
Originally from Casper, Wyoming, but a Denverite for many years, Paul joined our team 7 months ago and has 27 years of caregiving and CNA experience in various settings from home health to skilled facilities, and more recently to in-home care. Paul is also a hair stylist with a culinary background, so he comes to us with multiple talents and skill sets! When asked what he enjoys most about being a Professional Caregiver, Paul says it is all about the satisfaction he gets from caring for people and knowing he is doing his best every day. He has many fond memories of the seniors he has cared for over the decades but he says the sense of personal enrichment he receives from caregiving is measured equally by the compassionate and nurturing care he provides to those in his care. Having never married, Paul says that the families of those he has cared for have become like the family he never had. He is very close with his own family as well and his father still works in the oil business at the age of 85! Paul describes his mother as an amazing person who he admires and respects for all that she has done and all whom she has cared for in her life. When asked for one professional tip he could share with his fellow Professional Caregivers, Paul says, “Be your best and always do your best!” We think you are the best Paul!!!
