Meet this week's CAREGiver Spotlight, Ian! Ian has been a dependable, hard-working, and reliable CAREGiver for our team here at Home Instead in Riverside. He jumped right in and took on more and more responsibility, and has provided excellent care and a big heart to share with all. When I am not caregiving, my favorite things to do are: Go to Dodger's games, go bowling, or relax and spend time with my friends and family.
What is one of my most memorable moments in caregiving: I remember the first time that I used the Hoyer lift on a client and I was honestly nervous, but eventually after practicing for a while it became second nature to me.
Fun fact about myself: I played football for seven years and I am working to one day become self-employed and start a mobile car detailing business.
If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would want to go here: Puerto Rico.
Besides my phone, I never leave the house without: Wallet, care keys, hydroflask, and saying a prayer before I leave and drive for work.
