Executive Director Monica Smith

Monica Smith - Executive Director

Monica comes to Home Instead with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She has over 25 years working with older adults and is a proven leader in the field of aging.

Monica holds a Master of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. She began her career in cardiac rehab and later worked with over sixty faith communities as a liaison between the hospital system and parish nurses and health ministers. She has spent many years as an executive director in senior living communities, specifically memory care, winning awards for best practices.

Monica is very passionate about her work with older adults and is best known for her work in whole-person wellness. She has spoken both locally and nationally and participated in several articles on the topic. Creating a culture of whole-person wellness is a core value for Monica. Meeting people where they are in their journey, anticipating their needs, providing guidance and support, and having a positive approach is what Monica does best.

In her free time, Monica looks forward to hanging out with family and friends. She enjoys the simple things in life, especially laughing and having fun with her grandchildren.

Bobbi Hicks Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator 1

Bobbi Hicks – Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator

Bobbi holds a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Cincinnati. She has worked in health care for over four years and came to Home Instead two years ago. Bobbi brings a spirit of collaboration and compassion for both Care Pros and clients alike.

Bobbi is committed to hiring the best Care Professionals that will provide the quality-of-care Home Instead expects. She is uplifting and spreads positivity in her approach. She understands the unique abilities of each Care Pro and works with the team to place them with the right client.

Bobbi is a Cincinnati native. In her free time, Bobbi loves spending time at Lake Cumberland with her friends and family and going on hikes with her husband and dog.

Jim D’Wolf - General Manager

Jim’s 20-year career that has included time in senior living management, senior living solutions, and operations management. He is committed to improving the lives of older adults and their families by creating environments that foster safety, comfort, and independence. His focus includes aging in place principles to help families adapt their homes to meet the evolving needs of seniors, ensuring they can live confidently in spaces that support their well-being. His hands-on experience helps him to create solutions that make homes safer and more accessible for seniors at every stage.

Jim’s management background includes extensive experience in team development, focusing on building high-performing, collaborative teams. He believes that successful outcomes in senior living and care environments come from strong leadership and well-coordinated teams that share a passion for enhancing the lives of those we serve. This dedication drives him to not only improve living conditions for seniors but also to lead and inspire the professionals who make that possible.

Known for her ability to quickly source and attract top candidates, she brings a consultative approach to working with hiring managers, ensuring that each placement supports long-term business objectives. She leverages advanced HR technology to optimize the hiring process, all while maintaining a personalized touch that builds lasting relationships with clients and candidates.

With over 18 years of experience in the healthcare field, Priya has dedicated her career to improving the quality of life for seniors and their families. Specializing in geriatric care management, she has worked in various settings, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, and home health care. Her clinical training exposed her to the diverse needs of patients, but it was her work with older adults that ignited her lifelong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors. Early on, she worked in skilled nursing facilities, where she developed a keen understanding of the physical and emotional challenges faced by seniors. Her compassionate approach and ability to build strong relationships with patients and their families set her apart.

Priya is passionate about advocating for the elderly, ensuring they receive personalized care that meets their unique needs. With a deep understanding of age-related health challenges, she provides expert guidance on health management, caregiver support, and community resources.

Priya is also a passionate LEGO enthusiast and the proud owner of a thriving Bricks and Minifigs store. The store has become a beloved community fixture, offering a diverse range of new and used LEGO sets, minifigures, and accessories. Priya is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where both casual builders and avid collectors can come together to share their passion.

Beyond retail, Priya actively engages with the local community, collaborating with schools and organizations to promote educational programs that utilize LEGO for STEM learning. She believes in the power of play to inspire critical thinking and teamwork in children.
