At Home Instead of Malden, MA, we had the privilege of joining the entire community in celebrating the 100th birthday of one of our clients, Celia Denehy. On Friday, July 7th, we hosted a heartwarming event to honor Celia's century of life and contributions to Malden.
The festivities took place outside Celia's home on Malden Street, where a large cake adorned with her picture awaited. The community gathered to express their appreciation, including esteemed guests like Mayor Gary Christenson and Ward 2 Councillor Paul Condon, who presented Celia with a special certificate commemorating her milestone birthday. As we celebrated this incredible centenarian, the Malden Fire Department, Malden Police, Cataldo Ambulance Service, and NBC 10 Boston were among the many organizations that joined us to express their admiration for Celia and her contributions to the community.
