Lerica Brown is our October 2021 Professional Caregiver of the Month. Lerica has been dedicated to Home Instead and her clients for 6 years now and every one of them compliments her attentiveness to detail in meeting their loved ones needs. Lerica takes the time to connect with client’s not just on a surface level by completing daily tasks and requirements but by taking the time to connect with them emotionally as well. Her long time regular client Ms. Norma Bell and Ms. Bell’s family call Lerica their angel. She has spent so much time with Ms. Bell and pays so close attention to her care needs, that she is often able to make suggestions or readjust parts of the care plan to prevent poor days and increase Ms. Bell’s quality of life. Lerica treats her client’s like family and they truly love her. Her administrators say “She is such a joy to talk to both in person and on the phone. She is always happy to rearrange or adjust care needs and talk through solutions. Furthermore, we’ve never had a conversation with Lerica where she doesn’t check in on us too. She is wonderful about remembering the details of people’s life and truly care about the outcomes and situations of others.”
