2023 Care Professional of the Year: Yvonne Mundle
Yvonne has been employed with HI for over 7 years. She is VERY reliable, kind, and takes her job very seriously. She’s had several long-term clients and they have all loved working with her. Yvonne does not shy away from working with challenging clients, she takes the time to figure them out and stay as pleasant as possible.
Yvonne had a long term client that had around the clock care for many years. The son LOVED her and wanted her there as much as possible. He stated that she was excellent at problem solving and making his mother (who was bed bound) as comfortable as possible. Whenever another caregiver couldn’t make their shift she always filled in or stayed late. She was very dedicated to this client for a very long time and really showed her teamwork skills and accommodating nature.
Yvonne has been caregiver of the month twice-June 2017 and April 2022.
Yvonne is friendly and super helpful. She is always pleasant with office staff and other caregivers. She is a team player and does really well in 24/7 situations. If she loses a client, regardless of reason, she always let me know she is ready for another client and is eager to help. She currently has a very difficult client who says very mean and hurtful things. Yvonne knows the client has a serious health issue and instead of getting really upset about the name calling, she keeps it in perspective. She could very easily get frustrated and leave, but instead has been working with daughter and office staff to make the best out of the situation. We can always count on Yvonne to do the right thing and make the best out of any situation. When she is placed with a new client it makes us happy because she is such a good representation of all that a caregiver should be. Client’s are always in good hands with her.
