Mrs. Marcus is one client who is an example of the difference that Ronnette is making. “She lives alone, and when I show up for work, she says that she loves me and that I make her day,” Ronnette says. “She knows that we will have a fun evening of eating and dancing together.”
Ronnette’s advice to other Care Professionals is to treat clients the way they would want to be treated if they were in their clients’ shoes. “Take time to get to know your clients and have patience, because we are here to help them live fulfilling lives,” she says.
