Meet Our Team

Susan spent her early years exploring the sights, sounds & history of the East coast, growing up right outside Washington D.C. Throughout the course of her life, God has given her a heart for people and has provided many wonderful opportunities to develop relationships while attending Baylor, working as a speech clinician and teacher, ministering to college students, starting new churches, homeschooling her three children and running a business. Now as a member of the Home Instead team, she feels additionally blessed developing relationships to purposefully enrich the lives of Seniors.

As a Registered Nurse, Denni helps determine each client’s needs in order to create a tailored plan of care that helps clients remain comfortably and safely in their homes. She visits with our existing clients and helps them address any potential home safety hazards. She also helps educate clients/caregivers on our safety standards and our client care policies including infection control, management of emergency situations and efforts to maximize client autonomy.

Before joining Homeinstead, Denni was a hospice nurse case manager for 15 years. “It has always been a passion of mine to help folks remain in their homes. That is what we all want to do. I was a young working mother when my own mother became very ill with cancer. Unfortunately, there were no home care companies like Homeinstead at that time. She desperately wanted to go home from the hospital one more time, but was never able to. My siblings, my father and I all had jobs and small children that prevented us from staying with her and she could not stay home alone. It is very rewarding for me to have the opportunity to help our clients stay in their homes where they are happiest.”

Shaquetta has spent the better part of her adult life working within the medical field. She has focused her work on senior living facilities where the love for Seniors and their care emerged. Shaquetta has worked for approximately 28 years in the medical field at many senior living centers across the Oklahoma City metro area.

Before joining Homeinstead, Shaquetta started out working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She later attended classes at Metro Tech to gain her Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certificate and begun to pass meds at various senior living facilities. Wanting to advance in her career, Shaquetta began to learn the Scheduling Coordinator position. Finally, she was promoted to Scheduling Coordinator and has been working as one for 7 years. “I really love the opportunity to provide various types of assistance to Seniors across the metro area.”

Madison spent her first few years out of college working for various companies in the graphic design and marketing realm. She had also served as a Caregiver for Home Instead in Fort Worth and that is where her love for seniors grew. After getting married and finding a home in Oklahoma, she knew she wanted to impact the lives of others and find opportunities to serve the community around her, which is what brought her back to Home Instead.

Now, as a Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator she is able to lean on her past experience as a Caregiver and assist our Care Professionals in providing the best care possible for our clients. “It brings me great joy to get to know and create relationships with others in our community that also have a heart for serving seniors.”
