The Home Instead Hit a Home Run For Dementia Event was a HUGE success! During the event, seniors and their families were given practical tips and strategies to support individuals with dementia and their caregivers.
John Parrish, a US Army veteran, started the event off by singing the National Anthem. Then, we listened to informative talks from Dr. Ganesh Gopalakrishna, that covered emerging medications, research, and tips for protecting loved ones with Dementia.
Thank you to everyone who attended and those who supported our event, such as Ami Becker from Duet; Heather Mulder from Banner Health, Deena Goldstein from Measureabilities; and the YMCA for helping with the event and providing the space!
